I am writing this here to make sure I keep my facts straight.

I’ve been involved in a situation with a handful LGBTQ+ student at Brigham Young University who needed some support.
First, BG, had been stalked by a guy he’d briefly met on a dating app. The stalking started with online harassment and quickly evolved into damage to his property. Long story short, some choices were made out of fear, and the stalker reported BG to the BYU Honor Code Office. The HCO expelled BG, three days after he walked in graduation.
Another LGBTQ+ student, LA, was found to have made explicit videos that could be found online, but behind a paywall. A member of DezNat found the videos (behind the paywall, remember) and created a DezNat swarm that harassed and doxxed the student to the point that he removed all of his social media. He is in a current investigation by the HCO. If expelled, he would lose his international student visa and be immediately deported.
A third LGBTQ+ student, CS, is a victim of the same stalker who also stalked BG as well as being doxxed and harassed by DezNat on social media. CS has made multiple reports to local police and the BYU Police. CS also reported to the Title IX office. Nothing has happened to protect him.
Fourth, there is an outspoken and well-known LGBTQ+ student at BYU, who is routinely harassed and doxxed by members of DezNat. He has received death threats. Reports to local and university police, as well as the Title IX office, have done nothing to protect him.
Something is rotten in Provo, and I’m going to figure it out
